Board of Directors Election Notice
Our Nominating Committee has chosen three nominees for the available positions on our Board of Directors. Nominees are currently unopposed. If more than three candidates emerge by February 7, 2026, an election will be held. As a valued member, you are encouraged to cast your vote in the event of an election. All members aged 18+ are eligible to participate in choosing the elected nominees for our Board of Directors.
To run for a Board of Directors position, contact Erin Fenstermacher, VP Board Liaison and Executive Administrator for details and petition instructions. Completed petitions must be submitted by noon on February 7, 2026. If multiple nominees arise for a position, eligible members will receive either a printed or electronic ballot.
Our Nominating Committee has nominated the following
candidates to serve on the Board of Directors:
Vincent Gorman
Board of Directors, Three-Year Term
Vincent has been a Volunteer with First Commonwealth since joining the Supervisory Committee in 2008. He has been a Board member since 2010. He is a retired consultant and currently resides in Lower Macungie with his wife, Pat.
David Hlavinka
Board of Directors, Three-Year Term
David has been a Volunteer at Baker Federal Credit Union since 2002, prior to its merger with First Commonwealth, and has been a member of our Associate Board since. He currently serves as the Divisional CFO for Avantor’s Bioscience & Technology segment. David lives in Upper Macungie with his family.
Marilyn Morel
Board of Directors, Three-Year Term
Marilyn Morel has been a Volunteer with First Commonwealth since joining the Associate Board in 2022. Marilyn has over five decades of experience in leadership and management roles, including Commercial and Retail Banking sales, operations, and international banking and is currently the Vice President of Community Lending at Finanta.
It's because of YOU that we're able to celebrate significant milestones, ongoing success, and deliver on our mission to empower the pursuit of financial happiness. We are excited to gather and share the highlights of the past year!
