First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union's Scholarship Program is here to support our members that are graduating high school seniors or adult learners returning to school in offsetting the rising expenses of higher education. This year, we're awarding 12 students with $2,500 scholarships, and the funds will go directly to the student's chosen educational institution. 1

Application Process
To apply for the First Commonwealth Scholarship, the following steps must be completed:

Letter of Recommendation Criteria
A Letter of Recommendation is required in addition to your application. The Letter of Recommendation is to be written by a teacher, leader, or supervisor of the organization for whom you have performed community service or volunteer activities.
The Letter of Recommendation should be completed on the organization or company letterhead and sent directly to FW@firstcomcu.org. Please be sure to include the applicant's name in your submission.

1 Winners will need to submit a copy of their tuition invoice/bill. Payments will be sent directly to the school upon receipt; please allow up to four weeks for processing. Winners will be notified in March and announced at our Annual Meeting. They will receive admission for themselves and two adults to the First Commonwealth Annual Meeting.
