We’re thrilled to report that our new Financial Centers will be equipped with ITMs! Don’t know what an ITM is? Don’t worry. We’re here to answer all your questions about this exciting new technology.
What does ITM stand for?
ITM stands for “Interactive Transaction Machine.”
What is an ITM?
An ITM is like an ATM (automated teller machine), but features live video technology. You can use the ITM to connect with interactive video associates who will assist you with your transactions.
What transactions can you perform at an ITM?
At an ITM, you can complete all the transactions available at traditional ATMs. These include:
- Withdrawing cash
- Cashing checks
- Making deposits (cash, checks, or both)
- Transferring funds among accounts
- Making loan payments
However, ITMs also enable you to conduct more complicated transactions than those you can perform at a regular ATM. For instance, if you wanted to withdraw money in $1 and $5 denominations, you could specify this preference through your interaction with the live video associate.
Where will the ITMs be located?
You will find ITMs in the lobbies and drive-up lanes of our new Financial Centers in Bethlehem and Easton.
ITMs Make Security a Priority
Our ITMs at First Commonwealth not only offer convenience, but also enhanced security for your transactions. Cash is directly deposited into the machine (no envelopes!) and counted to reduce fraud. Furthermore, a live person is present throughout the day to verify users’ identities. It’s just one more way we’re going above and beyond to protect you and your money.
