I understand the hardship you may be facing right now and the uncertainty you may be experiencing surrounding the COVID-19 global pandemic. At First Commonwealth, we're here to help! While our daily lives continue to be impacted by COVID-19, it's important to know that the well-being of our employees, members, partners and communities remains our top priority. First Commonwealth is considered life-sustaining business and we remain open to assist you.

We are committed to being responsive to the needs of our members and protecting your finances as the situation evolves. We are also working to conduct business in accordance with recommendations from our government and regulatory agencies regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. As a member of First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union, your funds on deposit with us are federally insured up to $250,000 by the NCUA and we have created relief options for our members that may be financially affected by this global pandemic.

Please continue to check this site for up-to-date information about our operations, relief programs, financial wellness education, tools, and resources. We strongly encourage you to use First Commonwealth’s digital tools and resources for self-service banking and 24/7 account access. Our membership and loan applications remain accessible via our website. It’s actually easier and faster to manage your account digitally, especially given that social distancing practices have led to higher call volumes in our Contact Center.

We also understand that there may be instances where our members find themselves facing financial difficulties. To help ease any hardships that you may be facing as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union is offering financial assistance and connection to community resources to members that have been financially affected. We realize for many, this may be the first time they’ve been faced with this type of crisis and we’re here to help you navigate through these unexpected events and are doing everything we can to offer assistance.

We’ve developed a number of Relief Programs to help members that may need one-time or ongoing assistance. Relief is available for members with loans with us who may need temporary relief or an alternate long-term solution, including payment deferrals on existing loans and special low-interest loan programs. If you're experiencing financial hardship and need of assistance, please reach out to us at 610.821.2400 ext. 6773 to discuss. Good advice and sound planning will help you get through the toughest life situations.

As always, thank you for choosing First Commonwealth as your trusted financial partner and for your patience and understanding as we take important steps to ensure the safety of the nearly 67,000 members of our First Commonwealth family.  Together, we can overcome the financial hardships presented to us in this difficult time.
